With the invention of the Gulp Alive Leech, Berkley scientists have developed a bait that can replace the real thing. Each bait is imbued with Gulp attractant and is the size, shape, and color of a natural leech. When nose hooked on a dropshot rig and fished on light line, the Gulp Alive Leech is extremely successful. These baits come in a small, sturdy bucket with Gulp attractant, which is perfect for reviving baits after they’ve been used. The Berkley Gulp Leech will demonstrate that certain artificials are indeed superior to live bait.
In the “magic gravy,” float your favorite Berkley® Gulp Baits! That these incredibly realistic Leeches “work” in a high-octane Gulp! They absorb up to 20% more attractant in the Alive® solution, making them more potent than ever. There are more reasons for fish to pound a Leech because it has more smell, taste, and action. Each super-charged Leech leaves a blood trail in the water, and when you’re done catching them, you can simply return them to the bucket to recharge for another day!
Recharge the bait’s effectiveness by placing it back in the bucket. Try Gulp instead of live bait if you don’t want to deal with the hassle. It’s alive! and take part in the revolt.

Conclusion:
Not only do they catch fish…they are tough and stay on the hook very well. A big plus is not having to re-bait with every bite or fish. The first time I ever used them was Dec. 1st on the Missouri River popping walleyes in deep water. Not having to check bait with every tap and not having to dig into a cold minnow bucket made me a huge believer. Have been using GULP this year with excellent results. May never have to hassle with live bait again!
