All day I’ve been standing in water and fishing for trouts. I’ve always loved muck boots for their sturdiness and comfort, but I needed something shorter and lighter, and these huk’s sounded perfect. I received the blue ones, and they match my uniform perfectly. They still look fantastic when worn with shorts or jeans. I ordered a size down based on the reviews. I’m usually a 10 1/2, but I went with the tens. They were a fantastic fit. Right out of the box, it’s quite comfortable. I’ve pushed them through a few of 8-10 hour days and haven’t been disappointed. The first night, I was saturated through and through, and water wound up in my boot.
Given how brief they are, I expected that to happen from time to time. I was worried that they would stink once I removed them, but they dried quickly and still smell like new after two days. They appear to be well-made, so if they last more than 6 months, I’ll probably stick with this brand.
