Conclusion:
I fish primarily off the coast of Hawaii, where there are a lot of rocks and reef to contend with. The line has handled many situations when I’ve gotten stuck up on the rocks and needed to apply significant force to turn a fish out of a hole, and it’s handled them all. With the exception of one time, I’ve always run a hook line off of the braid of the same test, and the line has always broken at the mono hook line, while the braid has remained firm. It showed very well on freshwater fishing for trout too.
Saltwater and shore fishing put your line to the test, and in my experience, this braid has performed admirably. A great deal for a great product. My whole team has been pumped about our new line, and it’s holding up just as well as the last two times I’ve tried this braid. I’m also excited to test out all of the other color combinations.
