Conclusion:
I was really excited about finally finding my fish with a “true” veggie wafer. While the thickness of algae wafers I have used is around 1/2 to 1/3, two wafers have clouded up the water substantially in an aquarium of 40 gallons in crystal clarity. They seem like chips of potato more than wafers of algae. The fish had eaten them, and in a few hours, I hope the tank will clear. At night, I will finish the bag by feeding them, and I hope that the water will be cleared by morning. Wouldn’t buy them again. Note: The water is removed within a few hours of feeding.
